Alphabet Cars October 13 2014
Helping your child learn the alphabet and learning to recognise letters means you have to find a way that hooks them in. A great way of getting them more interested is to make the experience interactive and fun.
A great idea (especially for little boys) is to use little toy cars to help match letters. Simply put little letter labels on the toy cars and make little garages out of tape on the ground or building blocks with letter labels too.
Get the kids to drive the cars around then find the right 'garage home' for the car to park in. You can get the kids to match lower case letters with lower case letters or mix it up for a challenge and get them to try match the lower case letters with their corresponding upper case, capital letters.
Have fun :)
